**About the Role**:
Reporting to our Vice President, People, Culture & Community, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver our people and talent strategy, including talent acquisition, retention, onboarding, succession planning, and development & activation, and performance management - to name a few. As a super-power, you have specialized depth in development & talent activation, likely with a graduate degree or equivalent experience in OD, OB, or similar. You’ve built and successfully managed engagement and development programs - or parts of them - and seamlessly delivered them your client groups. And you continuously look for ways to continually improve, knowing what worked yesterday may not work today. You are motivated to work within ambiguity and are comfortable moving quick - both are important skills to navigate within Nexii and the role.
**Who you are**:
- Proven experience being a manager within an organization with thoughtful and compassionate leadership;
- Experience architecting an innovative talent journey that linked performance and development with business goals - and led the program from implementation to sustainment;
- Advanced, graduate education focused on OD, OB, or equivalent experience;
- Systems thinking and the ability to step back and consider the fulsome organization for team and individual decision-making;
- Proven experience of driving and enabling talent planning;
- Negotiation and influencing skills;
- A highly ethical demeanour and an ability to deal with confidential issues with tact & discretion.
**You love**:
- The entire employee life cycle - while you have a depth of knowledge in talent development and activation, you’re comfortable working within all areas;
- Talent acquisition and building internal pipelines for growth - you know it takes values aligned people, internally and externally, to do the work;
- Navigating through complicated and complex situations;
- Rolling up your sleeves from the 3ft level to 3,000 ft level;
- Continuing your personal learning journey.
**Bonus points for**:
Experience with Rise, Docebo, or similar learning platforms;
Experience with UKG Pro or equivalent HRIS;
Experience in the engineering or construction industry;
Continued education in change management and/or human systems dynamics.
