**Force Inspection Services** is a leading oilfield asset and tubular management and services company to the upstream oil and gas industry. Its core business revolves around drill pipe, drill tools, sucker rods, casing and production tubing, coating services, and tubular products for production and completion. Force’s services include in-plant and mobile inspection, repair, machining, and manufacturing.
Reporting to the Field Supervisor, BHA Operator is primarily responsible for inspecting Downhole Tools and Bottom Hole Assembly components, in-town, at Customer facilities. This position is also responsible for the supervision of an assigned crew, ensuring safety procedures are adhered to as well as maintaining client relationships and maintaining / repair equipment.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Coordinates and performs BHA inspection service activities as per job order received to meet customer requirements.
- Generates inspection summary reports and work orders using inspection program software.
- Supervises and coordinates inspection helper (General Labour).
- Ensures all equipment and tools being used for inspection are calibrated (if necessary).
- Complies with quality procedures and policies in accordance with ISO 9001:2008.
- Maintains service reputation and customer satisfaction in the shop or field with proper and timely job execution.
- Ensures inspection status is indicated by suitable marking on the pipe as per customer, company internal and the applicable standard (API).
- Inspect BHA components in compliance with applicable API standard.
- Liaisons with other department personnel as required.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and promote use of all PPE.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Complies with Force Inspection’s Health & Safety program and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.
**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**
- High school diploma.
- Strong verbal and written English skills.
- Minimum valid Class 5 Alberta Driver Licenses (Non GDL) (an asset).
- Basic Math and writing skills.
- Physically fit / able to handling weight up to 50 lbs.
- IPIA Used BHA Inspection Certificate or In-House BHA Inspection Certificate.
- ASNT Level II in MPI and LPI.
- Minimum 1 year experience in BHA inspection.
- Experience in B.S.L. Lathe-Style Refacer.
- API Spec 7 thread gauging.
- Familiar with API 5CT, 5B, 7-1 / 7-2 specifications.
- H2S Alive, WHMIS 2015 and First Aid.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and multiple stakeholders.
- Detail Oriented; values accuracy and has high standards around quality of work.
- Process thinker, with high degree of initiative and ability to work independently.
- Positive approach, with willingness to do what is needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a timely and effective fashion.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills.
**Special Conditions**
- Must be able to distinguish colors.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
- May require work in hazardous environments requiring protective equipment.
- May be exposed to dust and high noise levels.
- Manual dexterity required to use measuring instruments & tools.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
