Verafin - Product Manager (Check Fraud)

We're seeking a talented Product Manager to join our vibrant team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the product roadmap, having discovery calls to understand the needs of the market and customers. On these calls, you will dig in, peel the onion, and gain a true understanding of the underlying problems they experience so that we can improve the product with effective solutions.

You will act as the liaison between the customer and the development team, consistently bringing valuable problems into development days when required. You will become the expert in the part of the product you are responsible for and will coordinate with other teams like Adoption, Sales, CSM, and Product Writers.

What You'll Do:
- Manage a product backlog specific to Fraud Detection by conducting consistent discovery calls with customers and prospects- Represent the product at roadmap presentations and five-quarter planning sessions- Participate in demos for sales prospects and customers in renewal-
- Coordinate with the Adoption Team as valuable new features become available for customers- Coordinate with Product Writers who are working on Marketing Requirements Documents (MRDs) to detail new product features- Monitor all regulatory changes and adjust your backlog based on things that are required for regulations- Travel onsite to meet face-to-face and build relationships with top executives at our partner banks- Provide content and present information to our customer base via Webinars

What we're looking for:
- Proficient in Data Analysis and working knowledge of SQL is an advantage- Curiosity, empathy, and a passion for talking to our customers and internal teams, helping to 'peel the onion' to uncover problems they may be having- Experience launching a product and owning the process from beginning to end- Ability to interface with multiple levels within a customer's organization (c-suite, decision-makers, users).- An understanding of the check fraud challenge in the industry would be considered an asset- Previous Product Management experience would be considered an asset

Would be great to have experience in:
- Listening to customer challenges and understanding where our product fits in solving them- Supporting internal teams that look to you as a Product Expert to provide advice for internal and external audiences- Passionately supporting all the customers of the Product Team

What Success Looks Like:
- Consistent customer calls where you can dig in and get to the root of the problem, capture feedback and present that back to the appropriate internal team for resolution- Organized and driven, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize efficiently- Ability to figure out solutions to hard problems, work cross-functionally with other teams, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders- Responsible for the creation, shipping, and value of the product. You are the owner of this end-to-end process
