**Job Description**:
Under the supervision of the manager of the department, the quality inspector will be the one making sure the quality requirements are met.
Role and responsibilities
- Wipe down inspection lights
- Wipe down tool board
- Wipe down computer terminals
- Calibrate thickness tester, gloss meter and color spectrometer prior to production.
- Open KPI database.
- Enter information into KPI database.
- Verify production sample on color spectrometer as per 09B. Paint Production.
- Perform pencil hardness and scratch test to production sample (refer to ASTM D3359 and ASTM D3363).
- Record coating gloss and thickness measurement into KPI database.
- Perform 100% inspection on coated product.
- Count the quantity of components per window and enter into KPI database.
- Tag components with Routing information.
- If rejects occur, Red Tag accordingly with Routing information.
- Record completed quantities on Routing and sign.
- Deliver routing to Paint Line Planner

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Experience with computer.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft suits
- Strong analytical skills
- Meticulous
- Detail oriented.
- Advanced spoken and written bilingualism (French - English) - an asset.
