**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Associate, level 1 will be responsible for entering invoices and payments for the Accounts Payable department. This person will also provide support to the Accounts Payable team.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Enter invoices and manual payments processed into the finance system;
- Match invoices with PO
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Review account statements and follow-up with suppliers and internal business partners
- Support the Accounts Payable team for processing the full accounts payable cycle;
- Participate in Accounts Payable month-end activities;
- Collaborate with different teams at Head Office.

**To qualify for this role, you must have...**
- College diploma (DEC, vocational school diploma, community college diploma);
- Minimum 1 year in a similar environment Accounts Payable;
- Excellent typing skills for speed and accuracy;
- Strong problem identification abilities;
- Strong teamwork skills; capacity to perform well in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office: Word and Excel;
- Experience with Great Plains finance system is an asset;
- Bilingual French & English.
