Currently we have opportunities for **Pastry Chefs **at our 11 Canadian Rd., Scarborough location. Your skills that we need for our team are:
**Skills and experience you bring include**:

- Experienced in French and European cakes and pastries: minimum 7-8 years experience in high volume production of cakes and pastries
- Attention to detail
- Energetic, punctual, organized and positive
- Good communication skills, English reading and writing
- Must be able to work alone and as part of a team
- Have knowledge of food handling and preparation procedures
- Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Carries out any other duties assigned by Management.
- Must be able to go in and out of freezers
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
- Work according to Food Safety and Occupational Health and Safety standards

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$23.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Scarborough, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Baking: 7 years (preferred)
