Our Community Support Services (CSS) team provides essential services that enable our clients to thrive. Whether their disability is physical, the result of brain injury, or aging, our more than 2,000 team members assist clients in their homes and across communities, to live as independently as possible.

**This Opportunity**:
We are currently looking to fill a **Full-Time Personal Care Attendant** role, known internally as **Support Service Attendants**, for the **Supportive Housing Program - Conestoga Crest**.

**Position Details**:

- **Flexible schedule** including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
- **40 hours per week.**:

- **Starting wage**: $18.68+ per hour.
- **Eligible for** the **$3.00 per hour temporary wage enhancement** from the Ontario government for hours spent directly supporting clients.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Support Services Attendants assist consumers in their own homes with non-medical activities of daily living, following individual service plans and **March of Dimes Canada** policies and procedures, including:

- Personal care
- Lifts and transfers
- Rising/retiring assistance
- Bowel and bladder procedures
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Range of motion exercises
- Other light housekeeping duties
- Maintaining consumer dignity, privacy, and safety

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience with individuals with physical disabilities, older adults, or informal caregiving (asset but not required).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Physical Demands Self-Analysis required upon hire.
- Ability to work flexible and regularly scheduled hours.
