Warehouse Worker / Raymond Reach Operator Job Description:
The Warehouse worker will perform a variety of functions that include picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Receiving -Receive incoming stock when needed / Offload - Sort and restack skids / Receive and confirm expected count / Move to assigned location / Rack skids or overflow area as assigned / Pass receiving sheet to Receiving Supervisor (or Warehouse Manager if Receiving Supervisor not available).
- Warehouse Maintenance - Refuse disposal / Bin location maintenance - cut and remove excess shrink wrap / remove and dispose of empty boxes / Sweep aisles / Operate floor cleaning machine - Aisles will be assigned to persons. Maintain assigned row in a neat and orderly manner - sweeps floor; aligns pallet in slots; level load slots.
- Reloading bin locations - inspect and restock bin locations when needed - hand bomb cases to bin location - ask an operator for assistance if needed, or inform Warehouse Manager if additional help is required.
- Skid Preparation for shipping - wrapping of skids / reworking or rebuilding skids to match customer specification. Box, wrap and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards.
- Loading / Offloading skids or stock - Hand bomb or use of pump truck or Machines to load and offload trucks, trailers, containers when needed.
- Light assembly may be required
- Operate Raymond Reach forklift and walkie (once a holder of valid certification)
- Assist other warehouse workers in completing tasks as requested by the Warehouse Manager or immediate supervisor
- Box, wrap and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
- **Requirements**:_
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- Previous warehouse/forklift operation experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Overtime is required based on business demands, sometimes on short notice
- Must be dependable and a team player
- Must be able to lift in excess of 25 kgs and frequent lifting on average of 10 to 15 kgs
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Certified Raymond Reach and walkie

All interviews will be conducted at our new 85,000 square foot warehouse, located in **Burlington Ontario.**

Pay: $22.50 per hour
