**Location**:Hybrid: in-office or remote, in-person events**

The Leduc, Nisku & Wetaskiwin Regional Chamber of Commerce (The Chamber) has a vision for a vibrant, prosperous, and sustainable region, serving and strengthening business and community alike by representing over 1,000 members. The Chamber is the voice of business and the hub of business information for all members and future-members within the region.

The Chamber's success relies upon the quality and frequency of information exchanges between itself and its stakeholders. This position develops, manages and implements Chamber organizational and program marketing, branding, and promotion design and production, as well as media relations, corporate communications, publications and online presence. This role is responsible for positioning The Chamber as the premier business organization in region and building a local brand identity through the strategic management of marketing and communications activities.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, public relations or related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Strong grammar, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong web and design skills an asset
- Experience with Microsoft Office/Outlook
- Strong critical thinking and research skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while leading and managing several projects
- Ability to work well in both an independent capacity and in a team environment simultaneously with strong time management and organization skills

**Duties**:

- Plan and lead overall Chamber communications and marketing plans and projects ensuring consistency in branding, messaging, look and feel
- Work directly with Marketing Specialist to produce content and materials with a high standard of quality and design
- Manage social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn): balancing events/programs/news/ member content
- Update and develop Chamber website content
- Manage media relations and write media releases and key messages for spokespeople or serving as spokesperson
- Lead or assist with membership surveys - creation, design, and analytics
- **Assist with policy writing/contract writing/correspondence**:

- Work closely with Events Manager on event marketing and promotions, event sponsorship packages/recognition tools
- Provide communications support to team including Discover Leduc Region Tourism Content Marketing Lead, and StartUp Leduc-Wetaskiwin Regions Director, and Membership Managers
- Provide analytics reporting for all communications and platforms
- Assist members with advertising/promotional opportunities
- Support many events including speaking notes, signage, print materials and set-up
- Perform other duties for new initiatives as required
