**The Opportunity**

We are embarking on the next phase of our growth and as we continue to expand our business, we are looking to strengthen our day-to-day Human Resources activities and procedures. As a Human Resources Intern, you will be a key contributor on our team as you support the development and implementation of key employee policies and documentation.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with the development and implementation of Peak's Employee Handbooks for administrative and warehouse employees
- Administer various policies and procedures pertaining to Human Resources activities
- Assist with the implementation of the Occupational Health & Safety Program ensuring that Peak is meeting legislative requirements
- Support Peak's Health & Safety Representatives in conducting and reporting on monthly workplace inspections and meetings
- Act as a point of contact for employees inquiring about HR policies and procedures
- Track progress, priorities, and deadlines of various HR projects
- Perform other duties as required

**Qualifications**
- Must be enrolled in a Human Resources program in University or College and require a Co-Op/Internship placement for graduation
- Ability to work independently and a strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to multi-task and strong organization skills
- Entrepreneurial attitude
