Class 1 Truck Driver

****MUST BE BILINGUAL****

**Terminal: Laval**

**Delivery Route: Montreal and surrounding areas**

**Working days: Monday to Friday**

**Shift start: 2PM to Midnight (working 10 hours+)**

**No work on Statutory Holidays**

**May work on a Saturday in peak time**

**What you will do**:

- _**Drive Class 1 Tractor Trailer (Refrigerated) within Montreal and surrounding areas**_
- Pick up and Deliver products in good condition and within scheduled time
- _**4 to 6 pickups and delivery based on business needs ie. 0 to 2 delivery for the day**_
- _**Perform skid work at times for particular client locations with a manual pallet jack**_
- Complete any necessary paperwork accurately
- Perform all safety checks, including pre-trip and post-trip inspection
- Report on all safety hazards and accidents
- Use a cellular phone to communicate with Dispatch, Lead Hand and Manager ie. Truck breakdowns, delivery concerns, answer calls, texts etc.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Build strong client relationships
- Adhere to safety and compliance regulations
- Additional duties as required

**What we require of you**:

- French speaking or Bilingualism=Must speak English & French fluently_
- High School Diploma
- Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver's License is a must
- Possess a Clean Commercial Driver's Abstract
- Previous Trailer Switch Driver experience is an asset
- Minimum 1 year Commercial Tractor Trailer driving experience or 3 years highway driving experience

- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
