**Job Summary**:
EMSA South is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Fundraising, Sponsorship, and Marketing to lead and enhance our organization's efforts in securing financial support, building strategic partnerships, and driving marketing initiatives. This role is pivotal in advancing our mission by developing and executing comprehensive strategies to increase revenue, strengthen community relationships, and elevate our brand presence. This is a commission-based compensation position.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Fundraising Strategy and Management**:

- Develop and implement a robust fundraising strategy to meet or exceed financial goals.
- Oversee all fundraising initiatives including annual campaigns, major gifts, planned giving, and special events.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and potential donors, ensuring effective stewardship and recognition.
- Monitor and analyze fundraising performance metrics, making adjustments as needed to improve outcomes.

**Sponsorship Development**:

- Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities to support organizational programs and events.
- Develop customized sponsorship packages and proposals that align with the interests and goals of potential sponsors.
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with corporate sponsors, foundations, and community organizations.
- Manage sponsorship agreements, ensuring deliverables and expectations are met and maintained.

**Marketing and Communications**:

- Create and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote the organization's mission, programs, and initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, social media content, and press releases.
- Lead brand management efforts to ensure consistent and effective messaging across all platforms.
- Analyze market trends and adjust marketing strategies to optimize reach and impact.

**Leadership and Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to align fundraising, sponsorship, and marketing efforts with organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.

**Budget and Resource Management**:

- Develop and manage budgets for fundraising, sponsorship, and marketing activities.
- Ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to financial policies and procedures.
- Report on financial and performance metrics to the executive team and board of directors.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in fundraising, sponsorship, and marketing.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing fundraising campaigns and securing sponsorships.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and experience with digital and traditional marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively, with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of nonprofit regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.

**Work Environment**:

- This position is based in Edmonton, Alberta and may require occasional travel for meetings, events, and donor visits.
- Primarily a remote position with the requirement of periodic onsite meetings.
- Flexibility in schedule and work hours may be required to accommodate events and deadlines.
