Our team is growing, and we are seeking enthusiastic and experienced applicants for the role of **Packaging Line Operator**. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, some weekend and evenings may be required. You will be an integral part our team, ensuring our delicious beer stays excellent until it's in the hands of our customers. Here is how you’ll do it:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Run the packaging line operations by following the production schedule to meet packaging deadlines.
- Ensure beer is ready for packaging according to The Parkside Brewery’s standard operating procedures.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain packaging equipment to ensure safe and proper operating conditions.
- Ensures that packed beer meets our quality standards with respect to seam tolerances, fill levels, CO2 levels, and dissolved O2 levels.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness, safety, quality, and compliance.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of previous canning experience with Wild Goose canning equipment.
- Experience with Cask canning equipment considered an asset.
- Ability to problem solve with an aptitude for troubleshooting mechanical equipment.
- Demonstrate high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with our team as well as work alone to achieve results.
- WHMIS, First Aid Level 1 and Forklift Operator certificate considered an asset.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Physical ability to routinely lift/move up to 150lbs, work on your feet throughout your shift, and practice proper ergonomics.
**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
