You report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and are responsible for overseeing the Supportive Housing Department. This entails monitoring and evaluating the provision of assisted living personal support services. You are responsible of providing support services for approximately 80 clients/tenants in such a manner that respects their privacy and dignity. You must comply with the guidelines and standards set by the Ministry of Heath LTC Division and other governing and regulatory bodies. As well, you are responsible to operate under the standards set by St. John's Centre.

You also will oversee a contracted staff of approximately 20 Personal Support Workers and are responsible for maintaining a professional relationship with the PSW's as well as their employer/agency.

**This is a temporary position covering the absence of the current incumbent, with the duration lasting up to 16 months.**

**Qualifications**
- A diploma in a health care related discipline
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a related field
- Ability to develop and implement assisted living support services
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with diverse populations and governing and regulatory organizations
- You must be able to work independently and effectively with little supervision

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 16 months

Pay: $30.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
