Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.


**Position Overview**:
Under the direction of the Provincial Lead, Francophone Health, the Project Manager applies established project management principles, tools, and templates throughout the project life cycle including the initiation, planning, executing, controlling and closing phases. Provides leadership to ensure that the overall completion of project deliverables are achieved including management of project scope, resources, communications, risks/issues, budget, timelines, procurement, integration, quality and implementation. The Project Manager promotes and maintains a positive, professional, and team-oriented environment demonstrating a commitment to the vision, values, goals, and objectives of Shared Health. Projects will span a variety of areas, often with provincial scope and focus.

Le gestionnaire de projet favorise et préserve un environnement positif, professionnel et axé sur le travail d’équipe, témoignant ainsi d’un engagement en faveur de la vision, des valeurs, des buts et des objectifs de Soins communs. Les projets toucheront à un éventail de domaines; ils auront souvent une portée provinciale ou seront axés sur un enjeu d’intérêt provincial.

**Experience**:

- Three to five years’ experience in planning and implementing projects.
- Experience in program development, introduction of new systems and change management strategies.
- Experience leading project teams including planning, managing, and implementing change.
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment.
- Previous experience implementing large-scale projects across a variety of stakeholders.

**Expérience**:

- Postgraduate education is an asset.
- Previous training in project management.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven track record of producing results within time and budget constraints.
- Demonstrated linguistic proficiency, both written and verbal in English and French.
- Demonstrated proficiency with the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio).
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles, practices and techniques.
- Knowledge of regional policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines.
