We're currently looking to hire a **Permanent Full Time** Medical Receptionist for our **GTA East Locations (Floater Position)**

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Greet patients in a friendly, helpful and professional manner.
- Go above and beyond the call of duty to provide the highest level of customer service to our patients and referring physicians.
- Patient uptake. This includes organizing and processing requisitions, patient screening forms and inputting patient and procedure information into the RIS software.
- Register/check in patients.
- Schedule/book appointments.
- Manage a multi-line phone system.
- Pull and retrieve patient records.
- Communicate with health care providers or patients if necessary to clarify information and/or uncover missing information.
- Other duties as required by the Regional Manager.

**Qualifications**
- Positive attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to provide excellent patient care and customer service.
- Flexibility and openness to the changing needs of the business.
- Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic office technologies (fax machines, multi-line phone system/computers/printers, etc.)
- The ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic computer or office equipment-related issues.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanour and work well under pressure.
- Experience in medical administration/diagnostic Imaging would be considered an asset.
- Diploma or degree in Medical Office Administration (an asset)
- Excellent employment references.
