Irwin is seeking a Head of Investor Relations to provide advice and guidance to both our internal team and clients as we work towards our goal of being the industry leader in investor relations software.
The Head of Investor Relations will report directly to the Co-Founders and will interact with other executive team members to develop and execute the go-to-market strategy, scale the team, and establish operational excellence across the organization. If you enjoy working across departments to solve difficult problems this is the position for you.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 10+ years of experience in an investor relations role at a public company or investor relations consulting role developing and executing an IR strategy.
- Experience using investor relations and financial data platforms for investor targeting, shareholder monitoring, activity tracking, and financial reporting/modeling.
- A track record of innovative thinking and a desire to disrupt the current way of doing things.
- High energy with a hands-on approach combined with the capacity to think strategically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is required.
- Ability to inspire trust and confidence in others.
- Prepared to go the extra mile and get the job done.
- Outstanding persuasive verbal and written communication skills are required.
- A deep network of relationships within the North American IR community.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work with the account executive and business development teams to demonstrate Irwin to prospective clients.
- Advocate for Irwin within the investor relations community, help prospective clients understand our mission and what makes us stand out.
- Be the “Voice of the IRO” at Irwin, helping various teams within the company better meet and understand and empathize with the needs and challenges of the IR community.
- Build relationships with current clients and help them maximize their use of Irwin.
- Take an active part in crafting and executing Irwin’s thought leadership strategy, which includes content strategy, development and writing, event strategy and participation (including travel), and public participation in partnerships and community initiatives.
- Advise our product team on current challenges and trends in the IR profession and collaborate on new products or features that would benefit our clients as well as assist in the go-to-market strategy for new products and features.
