**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Support students in their daily tasks, encouraging participation and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to build strong relationships and ensure a collaborative environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher regarding individual needs and achievements.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Engage with children through play-based learning activities that enhance their social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with disabilities or varying learning styles.
- Assist with classroom management as needed.

**Experience**
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Background in Early Childhood Education or related fields is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with basic math concepts to assist in teaching foundational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with young learners and adapt language for age appropriateness.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of diverse learning needs.
- A passion for educating young minds and fostering a love for learning is essential.

Pay: $17.50-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
