Job Overview

Persaj Countertops is a premium stone fabrication and installation company specializing in natural stone, quartz, and porcelain for high-end residential and commercial projects across Metro Vancouver. We are seeking an experienced **Operations Manager** to lead day-to-day shop and project operations and ensure consistent, high-quality execution.

This role requires a mature, hands-on leader capable of managing teams, optimizing workflows, and running operations independently.

What’s the Role
- Oversee daily fabrication shop operations (saw, CNC, routing, polishing, finishing)
- Plan and manage production schedules from template through installation
- Coordinate with drafting, programming, and installation teams
- Ensure projects are completed on time and to Persaj quality standards
- Lead, train, and manage shop and field teams
- Enforce quality control procedures and conduct final inspections
- Monitor operational KPIs (on-time delivery, rework, material yield, productivity)
- Oversee slab inventory, material flow, and job readiness
- Enforce health & safety policies and regulatory compliance

**Requirements**:

- 10+ years of experience in stone fabrication shop or related construction operations
- Strong knowledge of natural stone, quartz, and porcelain fabrication
- Proven experience managing teams and production schedules
- Familiarity with CNC machinery and shop workflows
- **Proven team leader with extensive operational and people-management experience**:

- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills

Assets (preferred)
- Experience with similar stone fabrication software
- Experience with Digital template
- Experience with CAD Drafting & CNC Programming
- Lean manufacturing or process improvement experience
- Health & Safety / WorkSafeBC certifications
