**Salary and benefits**:
- $ 22/hr plus Fuel allowance
- Complete benefit package (Health/Dental/Vision/EAP etc.) for full time employee (You can opt out if you want)
- 3 months probation
- Paid training
**Work Schedule**:
- 10 hr/shift for 4 days in a week. It will be combination of in office and on road shifts.
- You will help dispatch in morning to get ready.
- You will help the drivers with their morning start ups and provide then their line up and staging location.
- Help and to make sure loading of the van at the start of the day is complete and helps drivers as needed
- Work with dispatch personnel according to schedule and avoid any delays
- Help our drivers on the road through out the day to resolve any issues related to parcel and customer
- Be available to act as RESCUE HERO in case the drivers need them need help and be not afraid to go on the road when needed
- Collaborate with tire shop, service providers to arrange required servicing as needed. Including pick up/drop off the vehicles.
- Perform daily vehicle counts and inspection to make sure vehicles are in perfect condition.
- Help operations manager in other office tasks as needed.
- You are responsible to take care of company properties such as vehicles, cell phones and other provided equipment.
- Remember, “SAFETY ALWAYS COMES FIRST”.
- Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED
**Qualification**:
- Previous experience as helper or fleet assistant is needed.
- A Class 5 Driving License is required.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Familiarity with navigating Edmonton area
- Familiar with using basic tool and do minor maintenance on vehicles as needed.
- Attention to details is required to make sure on road and if office tasks are completed
- Must consent to a drug screening.
- Must have good communication skills and the ability to work well with team members
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week
**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour
