- In this role, you will: _
- Work across the Procurement & Supply Chain function to assure the quality of the products and services that are delivered to the business, and our customers,
- Develop, own and manage the Supplier Quality Requirements Manual, in consult with internal and external customers, to define quality clauses for product requirements on purchase orders,
- Work across the Procurement & Supply Chain function to conduct and implement the Supplier Onboarding & Audit process, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company-specific quality requirements,
- Develop the Procurement & Supply Chain Quality management and surveillance capability, including establishing required processes, competencies, and standards,
- Be responsible for procurement quality assurance, including the development of quality management plans,
- Establish effective Supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to monitor product quality performance and evaluate supplier performance over the long-term,
- Be responsible for managing the quarantine processes, handling supplier Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and perform root cause analysis to resolve quality issues,
- Collaborate with engineering teams and the customer to resolve discrepancies in the parts catalogues to maintain product quality,
- Develop and implement a robust document control system for Procurement & Supply Chain that aligns with customer quality requirements,
- Drive continuous improvement in the Procurement & Supply Chain function by identifying and implementing process improvements,
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality Management, preferably in a complex engineering environment,
- A post-secondary education in an Engineering or Technology related field,
- Certification as a Supplier Quality Engineer or Quality Engineer is strongly preferred,
- Experience in a highly regulated industry with complex quality standards,
- Deep knowledge and experience in managing and understanding product drawings and specifications,
- Strong skills in process improvement, with preference for qualifications in LEAN implementation,
