**Duties**
- Operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Perform basic automotive repair tasks as needed to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations related to commercial driving.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques for basic maintenance.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including forklifts.
- Ability to manage freight handling efficiently while ensuring the safety of cargo.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the road.
