**Title: Delivery/Truck Driver**

In the role of Delivery / Truck Driver, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

- Preparing, receiving, and providing appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service.
- Loading, securing, and unloading cargo in a safe manner.
- Maintaining contact with the shipper to receive instructions about scheduled delivery or pick up.
- Maintaining logs of travel and cargo according to provincial regulations.
- Responsible for vehicle inspection and routine maintenance.
- Representing the brand and the company in a professional manner
- Working closely with shipping and other departments within the organization
- Loading and off-loading truck efficiently
- Performing other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities.
- Three (3) years of previous Truck driving experience is highly desired.
- Valid driver license and current ‘Z’ classification license to drive company truck.
- High degree of expertise in operating a roll-off (required)
- Forklift operating permit is an asset (required to obtain once in the role)
- Excellent record keeping
- Reliable/Trustworthy
- Excellent customer service skills
- Being able to work independently, as well as in teams.
- Excel in being able to represent the brand and the organization.

Overtime required.
