**MSB** is a strong force in both new construction and mechanical service within the GTA. The team is comprised of plumbers, steam fitters, sheet metal and service technicians making it a complete mechanical contractor. With the Canadian market opening, opportunities for advancement are imminent and we offer a stimulating work environment. **Project Manager - Project Services **Key Tasks and Responsibilities** - Review contract documents and prepare project scope of work. - Negotiate and issue purchase orders, manage construction schedules and prepare equipment lists with delivery dates. - Coordinate project details with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors and other stakeholders. - Manage projects within budget and maintain up-to-date cost reporting. - Track and manage change orders, prepare and manage progressive billing. - Ensure quality control and minimize deficiencies. - Organize post-mortems and communicate areas for constructive improvement. - Oversee Ventilation and Piping installation drawings and installation of equipment and systems (piping, plumbing, refrigeration, controls, balancing, insulation). - Understand the HVAC system design, ductwork distribution and piping. - Coordinate the preparation of CAD engineering drawings and shop drawings. - Understanding and use all company software’s to help with organizing and executing your tasks (Microsoft Office, Procore, Build, etc.). - Any other related tasks. - Manage orders returns "overstock" and see how we can either return or re-use on projects. - Manage the tooling on job sites, trucks, shop, etc. using Milwaukee One Key solution. - Maintain health, safety and hygiene standards in the workplace. - Perform light work, training on harness inspection and certification. - Any other related tasks. **Profile and skills we are looking for** - In-depth knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems, including design principles, equipment selection, and installation practices. - Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, with a specialization in Building Mechanical Systems. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role - Experience working with union tradesman - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot mechanical issues and propose solutions. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely. - Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset, but not mandatory. **What we offer** - Competitive compensation - Paid vacation per year - 5 paid sick days per year - Challenging work environment **Type of employment**: permanent, full-time. **Start Date**: as soon as possible.
