For over 30 year’s Bidell Gas Compression has been a North American leader in rotating equipment, including gas compression, power generation and pumps.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We are currently hiring for the role of _**QC Inspector (Welding).**_

As a QC Inspector (Welding), you will be an integral part of our quality control team. You will work closely with senior inspectors to analyze data, identify trends, and propose solutions for improving our quality control processes to ensure the highest quality and safety standards are achieved.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Conduct inspections of materials and pressure equipment fabrication, ensuring compliance with ASME B31.3 and Section VIII-1 standards.
- Schedule and coordinate non-destructive examination (NDE) examinations and post weld heat treatment (PWHT) as necessary for fabrication processes.
- Provide supervision during pressure testing activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Act as a liaison with customer inspectors and jurisdictional authorities to facilitate inspections and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Thoroughly complete and maintain quality, inspection, and examination documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Support the Quality Department in maintaining Bidell Gas Compression's overall Quality Control program, including participation in audits, process improvements, and quality initiatives.

These responsibilities reflect the specific focus on materials and pressure equipment fabrication inspections and highlight the role's importance in ensuring compliance, safety, and quality throughout the fabrication process.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Welding Engineering Technology Diploma,
- Shop QC experience is considered an asset.
