Spartan Snow Services is a professional snow company servicing the GTA and surrounding areas. We also offer our clients comprehensive packages for commercial grounds maintenance.

Spartan Snow is currently looking to add a Snow Removal - Loader Operator to grow with us as a team member. This position requires on-call availability 24/7.

**DUTIES**
Respond promptly to calls for snow and ice events with 1 (one) hour notice
24/7 on call availability during the winter season (including weekends and holidays)
Prepare and show up for shifts free from the influence of any drugs, alcohol, or medicines that have an effect on safe and productive equipment operation
Comply with all company policies and procedures
Complete logs of work completed as required
Track and record all job expenses and hours worked accurately
Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
Ensure that all safety rules and company safety policies are adhered to
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
Review and complete safety paperwork as required
Conduct pre-shift inspections and maintenance on all vehicles and equipment
Shop tool and equipment maintenance activities as assigned
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
Maintain a clean and safe job site, while ensuring current landscape and property is not damaged in the efforts of removing snow or ice
Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner
Operate equipment and snow plow equipment in a safe, responsible and efficient manner following all recommended operating procedures
Pile snow in designated and approved locations only
Load transports for snow hauling
Document and report any obstacles at site(s)
Ensure GPS units and/or dash cams in equipment, if applicable, are maintained and plugged in at all times
Fuel and grease machinery as required

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Valid driver’s license with clean driver's abstract and reliable transportation
At least 2 years' experience operating a loader
At least 2 years of snow removal experience
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Ability to lead, motivate and delegate effectively

**COMPENSATION**
Standby Pay + $35.00-$42.00/hour

**Job Type**: Seasonal

Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour

- Brampton, ON L6T 5V3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
