**Sleep Clinic Technical Director**

We have a great career opportunity for someone looking to join a growing team of health professionals. We are actively recruiting a Sleep Clinic Technical Director to oversee our clinical operations in Ontario. This is a full-time position and requires someone who is a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing the clinical operations and Technologist team by adhering to all technical processes, protocols, regulations, and guidelines.
- Maintaining equipment and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Scheduling technical staff.
- Addressing general technical questions from the team.
- Training and coaching the team in including providing performance and QA feedback.
- Conducting MSLT/MWTs, scoring sleep studies and ensuring scoring is completed by those assigned to.
- Maintaining good appearance and supplies of the lab.
- Planning and participating in meetings such as regular technical and QA meetings.
- Fostering and overseeing quality and suggesting ideas that continuously improve quality.
- Working seamlessly with the Administrative team to ensure overall efficiency.
- This role is also available for calls outside regular business hours as needed. Typical examples of this include questions from Technologists working in the evenings.
- This role is five (5) days per week, in lab with some flexibility to work from home.

**Qualifications**:

- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), with 3+ years of experience in the field.
- Experience with Sandman, Alice G3, Compumedics, and Natus.
- Experience using an EMR system (Accuro).
- Experience with pediatric sleep medicine.
- Experience leading a team of people and managing a sleep clinic.
- Strong communication and troubleshooting skills, and ability to work independently.
- A focus on high quality patient care and enthusiasm for learning and sharing knowledge.
