**Director, Financial Information and Controls**

**Location**: Laval, QC (4204 boulevard Industriel, H7L 0E3)

**Hybrid work**: 3 days at the office and 2 days remotely

**Type of employment**: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours)

**THE ROLE**

As part of Alimentation Couche-Tard's head office team, the Vice-President Controller's group plays a vital role in the company.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**

Here are a few ways in which you can make a difference:

- Preparation and presentation of internal financial information for the company's management team
- Preparation and presentation of quarterly and annual financial information required for a public company (financial statements, management's discussion and analysis, press release, etc.)
- Compliance with and updating of the company's accounting rules and policies
- Supervision of the financial information team comprising 10 professionals.
- Participation in the integration of corporate acquisitions and other special projects according to the company's activities
- Continuous improvement of processes
- Support and close collaboration with business units and other global groups

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**

We want you to join our team Here's what we're looking for:
**Education**
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- CPA required

**Experience**:

- 15 years' relevant experience in financial reporting and external auditing
- Experience in team management and ability to handle several projects simultaneously

**Knowledge and skills**:

- Quality work ethic, autonomy and initiative;
- Ability to manage priorities while respecting deadlines;
- Teamwork and communication skills;
- Availability to travel occasionally;
- Excellent command of office automation tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Mastery of Longview and Workiva an asset.

**Language skills**
- Bilingualism required (French and English), both written and spoken, as the person will be called upon to serve English-speaking regions.
