**ACTING MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATE - (19 MONTH CONTRACT)**
PLASP Child Care Services is a charitable organization operating on a not-for-profit basis, providing high quality early learning and child care, for children up to 12 years of age. PLASP operates programs in more than 240 schools providing before and after school care. PLASP also operates 36 full-day Early Learning and Child Care Centres and six EarlyON locations for children from 0 - 6 years.

The Marketing & Communications Associate will report directly to the Manager, Marketing & Communications. In this role, they will oversee key projects within the department, including managing the annual parent survey, coordinating the distribution of gifts to school staff, and preparing materials for various programs and organizational events.
**THE POSITION INVOLVES**
- Handling administrative duties such as preparing, distributing, and managing company surveys (including the annual parent survey), as well as organizing and analyzing survey results for the department Manager, Marketing and Communications
- Managing the preparation and distribution of materials for various school programs throughout the year, including during March Break, Winter and Summer Breaks, and key organizational events (e.g., back-to-school meetings)
- Overseeing the purchase, packaging, and year-round distribution of gifts for both school and office staff.
- Overseeing the printing and approval process of company literature by external suppliers, ensuring adherence to brand standards and maintaining accuracy throughout the process
- Maintaining an up-to-date database of school staff information, including custodians and office administration personnel at each school location
**THE PREFERRED CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Communications or Marketing
- Experience working in an office environment and working independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to relate and work well with staff in all areas
