Athletics Equipment and Laundry Support Assistant

**Purpose**:
The Athletics Equipment and Laundry Support Assistant provides day-to-day equipment maintenance and laundry support for the varsity teams across Athletics & Recreation facilities, under the direction of the Manager, Sports Medicine.

**Education**:
Completion of a High School diploma. First Aid and CPR certifications are required.

**Experience**:
Minimum of 1 year related experience.

**Skills**:

- Effective communication skills.
- Effective customer service skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and organize time effectively.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to operate basic equipment repair machinery and tools (commercial sewing machine, riveting machine, hand drill, etc.).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams).

**Additional Notes**:
Ability to lift up to 50lbsA clear Vulnerable Sector Check is required prior to commencement of employment.Ontario Class 'G' drivers license in good standing.
