**Roles & Responsibilities**:
- Create and prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to menu specifications.
- Ensure all pastries are visually appealing and meet the highest taste standards.
- Develop new recipes and seasonal menu items while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Manage ingredient inventory, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste.
- Oversee baking processes, including mixing, shaping, and decorating, while following precise measurements and techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and introduce innovative dessert presentations.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines for events and orders.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Proven experience as a **Pastry Chef** or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry decoration, and dessert presentation.
- Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Creativity in developing new recipes and designing elegant pastry displays.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume catering environment.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
**Experience**:
- pastry: 4 years (preferred)
