We are currently recruiting for a Supervisor, Quality Assurance at our RJS craft wine making facility in Kitchener. This role ensure compliance to quality requirements in the areas of food safety programs, raw material inspections, in-process quality control, finished product evaluation and other related quality matters.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Managing daily recipes for kit production, which include concentrate and juice inventory requirements. and being accountable to ensure right raw materials are used manage concentrate and juice inventory.
- Accountable for all quality aspects of daily operation at the Kitchener site including GMP compliance, product specification compliance and all Government regulated quality standards.
- Provide technical support to R&D, Marketing and Sales. Assist R&D in recipe development for all new products and line extension, especially the determination on color and fermentability. Assist R&D by doing all wine fermentations for new product development.
- Responsible for all operations in Red Blend including ongoing management of system data and inventory. Provide training and instruction to all RJS staff.
- Provide technical support to purchasing. Accountable to help purchasing make decisions through research data to achieve cost savings.
- Create goals and objects for the QA team. Track and report out on goals on a quarterly basis.

What You Bring:

- Previous Quality Assurance experience
- Supervisory experience
- Post secondary diploma
- Availability to work Monday-Thursday, 7am-5:30pm
