Clinical Psychologist

We’re Hiring Career Opportunities at The Therapy Centre - Oakville, Hamilton and Toronto locations. We are a well-established, busy private practice, with the capacity to have a full case load in 2-4 weeks. Competitive renumeration. The Therapy Centre (TTC) is a well-established and multidisciplinary private practice with locations in Oakville, Hamilton and Toronto.

We are currently seeking Psychologists (autonomous or in supervised practice) to fill the following positions:
1. Adult Psychologist - individual therapy, and ability to provide couples therapy would be an asset

2. Child and Adolescent Psychologist - individual therapy, the ability to provide psycho-educational assessments would be an asset. We are also seeking a director of child and adolescent clinical services who will oversee the responsibilities of other child and adolescent clinicians.

Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available.

- What We Do -_

Our clinicians provide assessment and treatment services to individuals struggling with a wide variety of mental health concerns. We offer treatment for: mood and anxiety disorders; trauma; chronic pain, brain injury and adjustment to other chronic health conditions; eating disorders; addictive behaviours; autism spectrum disorders; and various issues related to LGBTQ+ and sexual and gender identity as well as relationship issues, and lifespan stressors. We also offer insurance-based treatments for those requiring rehabilitation as a result of workplace injury or motor vehicle accidents, and psycho-educational assessments with the support of two in-house psychometrists.

Our Oakville location is located in the Palermo Professional Centre (Bronte Rd. & Dundas St. W.), a medical office building encompassing many healthcare offices. We offer free parking and are fully accessible. Within the building is a full-service gourmet café. Our Hamilton location is located on the mountain in a newly renovated medical building, accessible to surrounding communities. Our Toronto location is located at Yonge St and Davisville across from the subway station.

We see clients throughout the Greater Toronto Areas. Our referral base is very strong, and we are able to provide a full caseload within 2-4 weeks if desired.

We also offer monthly Professional Development Seminars, opportunities for group supervision and individual consultation, and an external speaker series. All are offered at no-cost to the clinician.

Many of us also enjoy giving back to the community, participating in events in support of mental health.
