**Who we are**:
Canadian Mental Health Association Durham is an integrated community mental health and primary care hub that has been providing mental health services to Durham Region for over 60 years.

During that time, it has evolved to provide a broad range of services to individuals and their families experiencing mental health challenges, from information and education to case management, psychosocial rehabilitation, housing and primary healthcare. These services are provided through inter-professional teams focused on providing clinically based services that, in addition to dealing with client mental health issues, address social determinants of health using the recovery model.

**Overview of the role**:
This position works as part of the Case Management and Community Services team**within the Canadian Mental Health Association Durham (CMHA Durham).

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides support to the **Case Management and Community Services Team** acting as main point of contact for property specific queries where needed and directed
- Formulates work orders to landlords, contractors and other stakeholders as directed
- Prepares quotes for repairs and equipment/furniture
- Completing forensic unit set ups including ordering furniture/supplies, arranging deliveries, and setting up all items
- Maintains and develops filing systems for all properties
- Assists the team in coordination and logistics of building projects, renovations, etc.
- Provides data entry duties including statistical inputting, invoice entry, etc.
- Maintains and works within Ticketing system and generates reports as requested
- Conducts audits and coordinates the office and departmental inventory orders as required
- Conducts annual review of contact lists, landlord lists and other annual documentation updates
- Coordinating and completing all required unit inspections, posting notices, and attending client evictions
- Responsible for daily inspections of Centre Street Lofts, ensuring that all areas are clean and accessible
- Liaison with CMHA Durham Paralegal for property related matters
- Active lead and participation in all matters to do with the Landlord and Tennant Board
- Coordinating the signing of occupancy agreements and completing the transfer/cutting of keys
- Ownership of room 309 master key storage and its contents
- Responsible for maintaining Pinewood units and inclusive picking up bi-monthly payments
- Participated in Housing Status Meeting and other internal/external committees/working groups as assigned
- Other duties as assigned

**Skills you bring**:

- Post-secondary and/or one-year related experience
- Understanding of Landlord and Tennant Board
- Understanding of procurement, quoting and work orders
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with staff, external partners, contractors in a confident, courteous, and professional manner
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively, tactfully and professionally
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing needs and demands
- Ability to multi-task, be organized and work with a number of projects
- Knowledge and experience in building/property management processes and security systems would be an asset
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and database management

**EFFORT**
- Sits at desk, stands and walks daily to perform the duties of the job
- Use of vehicle and deployment into the Durham Region to attend units/meet vendors and other stakeholders
- Some physical lifting and moving expectations
- Concentration, attentiveness and creativity required daily to answer inquiries, format documents, prepare documents, listen to staff and colleagues, etc.
