The **Houseperson **is a team player who assists the housekeeping team with hotel cleaning processes and procedures including but not limited to preparing rooms for cleaning by the room attendant; delivering supplies to guest floors; vacuuming hallways and guest areas; responding to guest requests using hotel mobile app.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects).
- Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
- In Guest Rooms_
- Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms
- Make beds and fold sheets
- Remove trash, dirty linens and room service items
- Greet guests and take care of requests
- Straighten desk items, furniture and appliances
- Dust, polish and remove marks from walls and furnishings
- Vacuum carpets and floor care duties
- In Public Areas_
- Clean and maintains all lobby and public areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum carpets, lobby entrance
- Vacuum and polish elevators
- Tidy the outdoor hotel perimeter
- Keep all public areas neat, vacuumed and dusted
- Check all lobby restrooms and restock as needed
- Check pool area
- Inspect and report condition of furniture for tears, rips and stains
- Assist guest with their questions and help guide them
- Deliver guest requests to rooms

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work
- Must be punctual and reliable.
