Houseperson

The Houseperson has the responsibility to maintain high standards of cleanliness inside the hotel. The duties of Houseperson are, but not limited to the following;
- Ensure public areas are cleaned as per brand standards
- Replenish supplies in linen rooms
- Report faulty equipment in related areas immediately
- Respond to house calls in timely manner
- Clean and maintain public washrooms
- In emergency situations, as required, must clean rooms as per housekeeping
- Assist with stripping and/or cleaning of guest rooms as/when required
- Must obtain 95% cleaning scores in guest rooms
- Must be available all shifts - mornings and weekends.
- Other duties as may be assigned

Physical Demands: Excessive standing, walking, bending, lifting

Job Requirements:

- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have the ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with guests and employee
- Must have the ability to read and write English
- Must be self-motivated and detail oriented
- Previous experience in a hotel environment an asset
- Must be flexible with shift availability (mid shifts, and weekends)
- On-site parking

- 8 hour shift
- Every Weekend
- Weekend availability

- Richmond Hill, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
