Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Horticulturist or Garden Enthusiast with a minimum 2 years experience to join our team. You will be responsible for the cultivation and maintenance of our clients gardens within the KW and Guelph region. You will meet at our office daily with the crew. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for horticulture and a desire to create and maintain our beautiful outdoor spaces. Enjoy the outdoors this summer We offer the opportunity if desired for scheduling flexibility, eg. working a 3 - 5 day workweek.

**Duties**:

- Planting, pruning, and maintaining trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plants
- Monitoring and controlling pests and diseases
- Irrigating plants and ensuring proper water management
- Operating power tools and equipment for landscaping tasks
- Using hand tools for planting, transplanting, and cultivating plants
- Providing guidance to clients on plant selection and care

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in horticulture or a related field
- Knowledge of common plant species, their growth requirements, and maintenance techniques
- Familiarity with power tools used in landscaping
- Ability to work with, motivate and lead a team.
- Applicant MUST have a valid drivers licence with clean abstract. Experience in hauling trailers is also an asset.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
