**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment that encourages children's curiosity and creativity.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to support a collaborative learning community.
- Maintain classroom organization, including managing supplies and resources effectively.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices.
- Stay current with early childhood education trends and participate in professional development opportunities.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred; an associate degree may be considered with relevant experience.
- Knowledge of child development theories and practices in early childhood education.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Previous experience in an early childhood setting is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
