JOB TITLE: Drafter, Residential Division

JOB TYPE: 40 Hours per week, Full-Time, Permanent, Monday-Friday

- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to frequent project changes.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and diagrams to create or modify drawings using company and drafting standards.
- Accuracy and effectiveness in electronic drafting.
- Coordinate filing, storage, and retrieval of both manual and electronic drawings.
- Maintain, support, and operate associated plotters and printers.
- Coordinate with designers, technicians, and other personnel to incorporate concepts and information into drawing packages.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently with mínimal oversight.
- Review drawings from construction teams and engineers and provide adjustments as necessary
- Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude.
- Keep the Project Manager (PM) and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings and plans
- Strong communication skills and high level of organization
- Minimum 5 years of experience in completing AutoCAD drawings
- Proficient in MS Project and the MS Office Suite of products
- Familiarity with construction methods and the building codes is an asset
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Strong focus and attention to detail to ensure completion of task with thoroughness and consistency

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
