JOB TITLE: Drafter

JOB TYPE: 40 Hours per week, Full-Time, Permanent, Monday-Friday

- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to frequent project changes.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and diagrams to create or modify drawings using company and drafting standards.
- Accuracy and effectiveness in electronic drafting.
- Coordinate filing, storage, and retrieval of both manual and electronic drawings.
- Coordinate with designers, technicians, and other personnel to incorporate concepts and information into drawing packages.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently with mínimal oversight.
- Review drawings from construction teams and engineers and provide adjustments as necessary
- Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude.
- Keep the Project Manager (PM) and others informed about project status.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
- Strong communication skills and high level of organization.
- Experience in completing AutoCAD drawings.
- Proficient in MS Project and the MS Office Suite of products.
- Familiarity with construction methods and the building codes is an asset.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Strong focus and attention to detail to ensure completion of task with thoroughness and consistency.
