**Job Purpose**

Is responsible to have a working knowledgeable of all rigging products to be inspected and tested and understand the operation of equipment being used.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- ** Responsible to drive a 1-ton truck and tow 45ft trailer if necessary (Out of Town)**:

- ** Is okay working out of province and operating equipment on site if necessary.**:

- ** Conduct on-site hazard assessments.**:

- ** Trained in the operation of Test Bed equipment.**:

- Trained in the selection, inspection, and cautions to personnel of all pull tested product.
- Trained in the operation of test beds.
- Knowledgeable on working load limits for chain sling, hoisting products, fittings, wire, and synthetic slings.
- Ability to identify flaws or reasons for failure during inspection of rigging products.
- Demonstrates good communication and time management skills.
- Accountable for all tools in possession and providing care for customer’s product.
- Keep the work area neat and in an orderly fashion.
- Responsible to represent the policies and procedures of Titan.

**Other**
- Knowledge of criteria for inspecting slings (ASME B-30.9)
- Inspecting and repairing customer’s rigging product
- Testing product
- Creating Test certificates
- Packaging & Staging product to be shipped.
- Reporting damaged and/or unsafe equipment
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annually inspections as required.
- Maintenance of tools and equipment
- Assist other employees.
- Some out-of-town work may be required.
- Performance of other duties as required.

**Key Requirements**:

- ** Class 5 Drivers Licence**:

- ** Meet customer site requirements and regulations.**:

- Minimum Grade 12 education
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of Titan Supply’s products
- Ability to work alone and in a team environment.
- Basic math abilities
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Forklift experience an asset.
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Time management & prioritization skills
- Organizational skills
