**The following will outline a general job description**:

- Support the team and be able to write and create social media content for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other relevant sites as well as maintaining sites (page creation, update site, track URL blocks etc)
- Understand the impacts of social media through in-depth market analysis
- Assist with on-going creative digital, social media and marketing campaigns
- Proofing promotional material, event tickets and corporate communications
- Collect and organize art work from corporate sponsors
- Accountable to create strategies and support out-side sales.
- Accountable for Media Relations including creation and distribution of promotional material & media releases. Find and determine how to promote event with media. Liaise with media partners.
- Write and edit blogs and campaign communications and develop community engagement with each campaign
- Assist with setting up online ticketing as well as coordinating ticket outlets
- Some administrative tasks as required
- Support the sales team and assist with business collections, as required.

**Experience**:

- BA/BS in related field would be an asset. A communication degree is a definite asset.
- Experience managing and growing multiple social media platforms.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and a results-driven mindset with the ability to gauge content performance/ engagement to inform strategies for growth.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize needs of business.

- 8 hour shift
