**Electronic Assembler**

This position is an ideal opportunity for an someone who is interested in electronic assembly. The job involves both board assembly and the final assembly of a wide variety of electronic products.
The Company
We are a Canadian contract design and manufacturing company. We offer an ISO 13485 and ISO9001 certified environment. We design and manufacture medical instruments, machine controls, vending machine controls and much more.

Duties will include;
1. Working under the supervision of a Board Assembly team leader

2. Preparing thru hole parts for assembly

3. Assembling through hole parts onto circuit boards

4. Hand soldering through hole components and Surface mount components

5. Inspecting boards

6. Operating AOI machines

7. Carrying out any other tasks required in our Board Assembly or Test and Assembly departments

8. Taking part in our program of continuous improvement

9. Participating in our lean manufacturing 5S program

**Qualifications**:
Expert in through hole and Surface Mount hand soldering.

Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills

Attention to detail

Ability to carry out fine assembly tasks

Positive helpful attitude

Boundless energy

**The following skills will be an asset.**

IPC A 610 board inspection training

JSTD 001 training

Experience with AOI and flying probe testers

**Training**:
On the job training for each project

IPC A610 inspection training by our in-house trainer

JSTD 001 training by our in-house trainer

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
