Brampton, Canada Royal Containers Ltd. Full time

**Responsibilities of the position include**:

- Maintain machinery in good working condition through regular inspections and TPM
- Perform emergency repairs as needed to ensure continuity of operations
- Maintain repair records, order and replenish parts and control costs
- Assist lead technician during complex repairs or projects
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop
- Diagnose/troubleshoot problems and suggest cost-effective solutions
- Implement best practices to assist in improving overall safety and productivity
- Adhere to workplace policies and procedures
- Process paperwork as required

**Qualifications**:

- Exceptional communication skills
- College diploma or 2 years of relevant maintenance experience
- Pneumatic and hydraulic experience
- Must have reliable transportation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- The ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts if necessary
- Microsoft Office Suite experience - Word, Excel, Outlook
- Forklift & Scissor Lift certifications an asset
- Ability to perform repairs within building maintenance/welding/electrical
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift

**Experience**:

- Facilities Maintenance Occupations: 2 years (preferred)
- Maintenance: 2 years (preferred)
