**Current Shifts Available**:
**1. (Casual)**

Food Service Worker & Cook 10:45am -6:45pm

1-2 days a week.

**Food Service Worker Responsibilities**:

- Sets tables, serves food, and beverages, in accordance with established policies, procedures, and the corporate HACCP plan.
- Maintains work and storage areas in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
- Washes, cleans and stores dishes, cutlery, fixtures and equipment used for food preparation and service.
- Operates food service equipment, prepare food items, and assembles ready foods for meal.
- Sets up beverage carts, salad carts etc.
- Reports all hazards, incidents, near misses and workplace injuries to the manager immediately and in writing.
- Adheres to Infection Control Practices
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- participate in monthly in-service education as per facility
- attend meetings as per facility

**Dietary Aide Must Haves**:

- Maintains Food Safe Level 1 Certificate
- current
- Maintains WHMIS certification
- current
- Successful completion of secondary school or equivalent and/or kitchen experience
- Legally allowed to work in Canada.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to organize work and work under strict time constraints.
- Satisfactory proof of COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Serving it Right (preferred)
- Influenza Vaccine
- Clear TB Screening
- Immunization Record
- Doctor's note for fit to work
- 2 professional references
- Availability 7 days a week between 1045am to 645pm

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 8 per week

**Salary**: $17.28-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
All employees are provided with proper PPE and handwashing locations to perform their work in a safe manner.

**Experience**:

- Culinary: 1 year (preferred)
- cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
