**Your Opportunity**:
The primary responsibilities of this position include:

- Prepare and serve various food items, following food handling procedures
- Ensure proper operation of all equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized food service area, including stock room, cooking area, dry storage and dishwashing area
- Notify supervisor or Lead when additional inventory is required. Stock as needed.
- Greet visitors and respond to inquiries in a friendly and efficient manner
- Process payments following established cash handling procedures
- Sell merchandise and related items
- Assist with receiving and stocking food & drink deliveries
- Work in accordance with the Conservation Halton’s Safety Policies & Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other related manuals.
- Other duties as assigned

**Your Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in the food industry and customer service is preferred
- Strong communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with both guests and various levels of Conservation Halton Staff
- Previous point of sale, Clover device, and cash handling experience is an asset
- Interest in hospitality, restaurant, resort management is an asset
- Ability to travel to a site not serviced by public transportation
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand, and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to work at any food location at Glen Eden
- Food Handler and/or Smart Serve Certificates are an asset
