Tillsonburg Custom Foods has an immediate opening available for a Sanitation Worker.

The Sanitation Worker will report to the Sanitation Manager, and is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all processing areas and equipment to ensure processing areas have been cleaned in accordance with TCF food safety policies and procedures.

**Shift**
- Day Shift
- Monday to Friday

**Key Responsibilities**
- Rinse, wash, and sanitize processing areas and equipment nightly;
- Inspect processing areas and equipment in detail before and after cleaning;
- Safely handle industrial cleaning chemicals and sanitizers;
- Assure all sanitation work is properly completed in a timely fashion for production to commence.
- Keep accurate records of cleaning performed.
- Additional duties as assigned.

**Qualifications / Characteristics**
- Prior experience in a food processing facility preferred;
- Experience in a Sanitation in meat processing establishment is an asset;
- Ability to work as an effective team member;
- Ability to work in a moderate to cold working environment;
- Ability to remain flexible and adapt to fluctuating work requirements;
Ability to multi-task and remain standing or moving for long periods of time

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.50 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

- Monday to Friday
