**We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Finance team.**

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Manage 2 separate companies & associated banking
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other
financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting
and procedural standards
- Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and
obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice
- Filed companies GST/HST tax returns monthly and quarterly
- Manage daily cheque deposits through Remote Deposit Capture
- Create new product SKU & UPC - inventory management system
- Purchase (local vendor) and inventory control management (receive products,
Forecast and EOL products)
- Review and approval of processed invoices (Accounts Payable), including follow up
issues
- Complete account reconciliations, trial balance of books, and support of month
- end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet.
- Ensure adherence to month end reporting requirements & deadlines
- Review journal entries and monthly general ledger reconciliations
- Oversee all AR processes including customer invoicing, revenue reconciliations,
and collections
- Supervise vendor payments & reviews coding accuracy as well as employee
expenses.
- Monitor, analyze and develop department processes to ensure more efficient
procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Collaborate with other department managers to support overall department goals
and objectives, specifically with the sales team
- Assist with, or lead, ad-hoc requests and projects as needed

**Requirement**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in an accounting role.
- Knowledge of NetSuite is a plus
- Formal education in accounting or business and bookkeeping experience
- An accounting designation or working towards one is preferred
- Proficient in NetSuite, Microsoft Excel, Word
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong accuracy, attention to detail, investigative, and analytical skills
- Proven team player with ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize
workflows and meet deadlines
