**The Role**:
Our team is responsible for delivering and supporting 3rd Party IPs such as SRAM & ROM compilers, in addition to inhouse Macro/IP development. All IPs need to meet AMD’s functionality, performance, and technology requirements while integrating seamlessly within the AMD design ecosystem. We are exposed to bleeding edge technologies and play a major role in shaping AMD’s roadmap and future products.

**The Person**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Create/Support/Enhance memory wrappers for RTL integration
Automate optimal memory selection within AMD’s memory wrappers
Lead inhouse memory compiler development
Create associated DFT views for memory wrappers and custom memory arrays
Close collaboration with CAD teams and memory experts

**Preferred Experience**:
Proficient understanding of SRAM/ROM/ECC architecture, operation, and requirements
Comfortable with script programming, such as, TCL, Perl or C-shell languages in a UNIX environment
Working knowledge of Verilog/RTL, liberty files, spice simulation, and ASIC design flows
Physical design experience, preferably with memory compiler tiling/routing

**Academic Credentials**:
Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering desired
