Trinity Hills 24 Hour Pet Hospital is a newer privately owned hospital. We are seeking an experienced RVT with Management experience and a background or interest in emergency medicine to join our amazing team. We are looking to add to our already great group of team-players who have a passion for families and their pets. We receive a variety of caseloads including many surgical and internal medicine specialties that our RVTs get to learn and utilize their skills

We prioritize education and positivity at Trinity, and hope to hire someone who appreciates these values as well. Our hospital comes equipped with a CT machine, digital x-ray, in-house lab machines, endoscopy, a ventilator and much more.

This is a 4 on 4 off daytime/swing rotating position, no nights required

Shift lead Duties including but not limited to;
- Primarily work with RVT lead to train all new RVT’s
- Bimonthly meetings with the Lead RVT/management to discuss team dynamics, concerns, etc.
- Relay to Hospital Administration of any equipment needing servicing or repairs.
- Help manage the daily flow of the clinic, between outpatient and inpatient.
- Prioritizing patient care and team morale.
- Ensuring daily tasks are complete within the team.

RVT Duties including but not limited to;
- Provide compassionate care and appropriate handling of animals undergoing treatment and surgery.
- Assist veterinarians throughout the entire surgical process, from pre-operative preparations to post-operative care.
- Accurately prepare and administer medications and vaccines under the guidance and supervision of veterinarians.
- Administer prescribed treatments and therapies as directed by veterinarians, ensuring the well-being of animals.
- Offer clients valuable counsel and guidance on various aspects of animal health care, addressing their concerns and questions.
- Participate in and assist with laboratory research, maintaining a commitment to accuracy and ethical standards.
- Proficiently produce diagnostic radiographs, collect samples, and conduct various laboratory tests, contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of animal ailments.
- Contribute to the effective management of veterinary offices, ensuring smooth operations and excellent client service.
- Deliver nursing care and rehabilitation therapy to animals, helping them recover and regain their health.

Pay: $34.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
